Join us for an exciting evening of Japanese Opera Singing with Nozomi Fukushima accompanied by Mai Nakase on the piano.

A beautiful selection of classical pieces, songs and music from Gibli studio, and epic songs from musical theatre will be presented.

About Nozomi Fukushima

Nozomi began her training as classical singer in her second year of high school, winning the Gold Prize in the 35th Fukuoka Prefectural High School Music Competition (Vocal Division). After graduating from Shuyukan High School, she went on to earn her degree in Vocal Performance (Soprano) from Tokyo University of the Arts.
Her musical theatre credits include Arlene in Footloose (Geidai Musical Express), Yuko in Natsu no Owari ni Chiru Sakura (team in the pink), Ilse in Spring Awakening and Natalie in Bad Girls (HANA’S MELANCHOLY). In March 2022, she served as music director and producer for Arts x Music: Uta wo Miru, exhibition held at Haneda Airport.
She moved to the UK in June 2022 and currently studying Musical Theatre at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance from September 2024. She also holds certifications as a barista and a personal trainer for sports massage, and continues to expand her creative and professional activities in London.
Her vocal training has included instruction from Katsunori Kono, Midori Minawa, April Perkinson, Lily Kerhoas, Mary Hammond, and Jody Robinson.

福嶋 望実

1998年生まれ、福岡県出身。

高校2年生より、本格的に声楽を始め、第35回福岡県高等学校音楽コンクール声楽の部にて金賞受賞。福岡県立修猷館高等学校を経て、現在東京藝術大学音楽学部声楽科ソプラノ卒業。

芸大ミュージカルエクスプレス定期公演『Footloose』アーリーン役、team in the pink『夏の終わりに散る桜』優子役、HANA’S MELANCHOLY『春のめざめ』イルゼ役『Bad Girls』Natalie 役を務める。2022年3月に羽田空港で開催された「美×音うたをみる」にて音楽統括として企画運営に携わる。2022年6月に渡英。2024年9月よりトリニティラバンのミュージカルシアター科大学院に在籍。バリスタ、ストレッチトレーナーの資格を持ち、ロンドンでの活動を広げている。
これまでに声楽を河野克典氏、三縄みどり氏、April Perkinson 氏、Lily Kerhoas 氏、Mary Hammond 氏、Jody Robinson 氏に師事。

About Mai Nakane

Mai completed her Masters of Performance with Distinction at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. She is currently in the second year of the Guildhall Artist Diploma. Her studies have been supported by scholarships from Rotary International, the Alec Beecheno Bursary Award and Guildhall School Trust. Mai performed with the Polish Krakow Chamber Orchestra when she was 9 years old. She has won various competitions and been invited many international music festivals and concerts. She has also been active in a wide range including appearing in Japanese TV dramas and films.

中瀬真依

4歳よりピアノを始める。三重県立津高等学校普通科卒業。東京音楽大学器楽専攻ピアノ演奏家コースを経て、同大学大学院音楽研究科修士課程器楽専攻鍵盤楽器領域を修了。大学院では副科として箏も学ぶ。2021年より渡英し、ロンドン・ギルドホール音楽演劇学校に在籍。修士課程を最優秀の成績で修了し、2023年秋よりアーティストディプロマ科にて研鑽を積んでいる。Alec Beecheno Bursary Award Scholarship、Guildhall School Trust、国際ロータリー財団奨学生。大阪国際音楽コンクール第1位をはじめ、国内外多数のコンクールで入賞。多くの音楽祭や演奏会にも招待される。
