We are pleased to announce that after 10 days of refurbishment, So Restaurant has re-opened its doors to the public! With the end of summer vacation and the start of the new season, we are hoping to welcome more and more of our guests in this new atmosphere.
With the concept of the new floor layout, our aim was to separate the drink bar from the sushi bar. Also, to create a more intimate corner for our “irori”, a traditional Japanese dining table was very important for us, come and see the changes yourself!
So now our sushi counter is more spacious, and our drink bar can accommodate even more drinks, as you will see it on the new drink menu. We are great sake lovers, so another point was to be able to offer various kind of new sakes that are very popular nowadays in Japan and abroad as well. You can choose from fruity – aromatic, fresh – crispy, earthy kind of sakes and other specialities, like Yuzu liqueur, Mio sparkling sake, or Kamoizumi Summer Snow (an unfiltered sake), just to mention a few. For those who would feel a whole bottle of sake too challenging, we offer sake sold by glass and carafe as well. If you are a beginner, we suggest you to try our new sake tasting set, with 4 types of completely different sakes, which will give you a good idea about what this unique Japanese drink is about.
We also love wagyu – this mouth-watering, tender Japanese beef, so we added a Wagyu Flank Steak Bavette in Teriyaki sauce to our menu. It’s speciality is that it’s grilled over volcanic rocks from Mt. Fuji. Don’t miss out!
